"Inspired by classic recipes like the Polynesian Paralysis, Fog Cutter, Eastern Sour, etc... 🌴 I wanted to create a tropical cocktail that contained all kinds of recognizable ingredients in some sort of 'core' drink 🍹.
Twelve year old Jamaican Appleton Rum at the base 🇯🇲 Lime and Orgeat to build the Sour template 🗿 and a trifecta of Orange to expand the flavor profile. 👅 The bitters float because... Well, because I'm a sucker for more Ango in drinks.
Btw, on itself, orange juice is quite boring (I'll always lean towards Grapefruit or Pineapple in stead 🍍), yet when you support it with both an orange liqueur (Dry Curaçao here) and orange bitters 🍊 you get a broad addition of its flavor spectrum, and that's where it gets fun again.
Nothing too crazy, just a damn tasty drink, exactly how I like it. ❤️ Cheers, Drinksta!"
