ingredients
- 1 (6 ounce) chicken breast
- 3 tablespoons Dijon mustard
- 2 tablespoons Sky Valley Sriracha, divided, plus more for topping
- 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt, divided
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder, divided
- 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
- 1 tablespoon green onion, for garnish
Method
Step 1
Preheat the oven to 400°F.
Step 2
Score the chicken breast in a crisscross pattern and set aside.
Step 3
In a small bowl, combine Dijon mustard, 1 tablespoon Sky Valley Sriracha, ¼ teaspoon of salt, and ½ teaspoon of garlic powder for the marinade.
Step 4
Spread the marinade onto both sides of the chicken breast.
Step 5
Place the chicken into an oven-safe dish and cook for 20-25 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F.
Step 6
In another small bowl, mix 2 tablespoons of mayonnaise, 1 tablespoon Sky Valley Sriracha, ¼ teaspoon of salt, and ½ teaspoon of garlic powder.
Step 7
Top the cooked chicken with the sauce, serve it over white rice, and garnish with green onion.
Note: For Air Fryer Cooking
Step 1
If using an air fryer, there's no need to preheat. Cook the chicken at 400°F for about 13 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F. Follow the same sauce and garnish steps as for the oven method.
