Peanut Butter and Berry Jam Toast

  • 2 slices seed bread, toasted
  • 2 tablespoon creamy peanut butter
  • 3/4 cup fresh or frozen mixed berries
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice
  • 2 teaspoon honey
  • Pepitas and sesame seeds, as garnish


  • Step 1

    Place a small pan or pot, on the stove, over medium-low heat. Add the berries, lemon juice and honey. Saute for 5 minutes or until the berries burst and have softened. Remove from the heat and fully cool.

  • Step 2

    Next, spread the peanut butter onto the two slices of toasted bread. Top with the cooked berries and a sprinkle of pepitas and sesame seeds.
