Treat yourself with this vegan brownie bread! It's perfectly tender, chocolately, and is topped with chopped peanut butter cups!

  • 1 flax egg, (1 tablespoon flax meal mixed with 2 tablespoons water)
  • 1 ripe banana, mashed
  • 2 tablespoons maple syrup
  • 2 tablespoons nut milk
  • 1/2 cup oat flour
  • 1/2 cup almond flour
  • 1/4 cup cocoa powder
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • pinch salt
  • 2 peanut butter cups, chopped


  • Step 1

    Preheat oven to 350F and grease your pan (maybe even line with parchment).

  • Step 2

    In a large bowl, mix the egg, banana, maple syrup, milk, vanilla.

  • Step 3

    In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, almond flour, cocoa, baking powder, salt.

  • Step 4

    Transfer to loaf pan and top with chopped peanut cups.

  • Step 5

    Bake 40 minutes or until knife inserted comes out clean.

    Remove from oven and allow to cool completely.
