Firecracker Chicken Bites

  • 2 teaspoons crushed red pepper flakes
  • 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper, (or paprika for less heat)
  • 1/2 teaspoon garam masala
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground coriander
  • Kosher salt, to taste
  • 1 teaspoon garlic paste
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon white vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • 1 pound boneless skinless chicken, cut into bite size pieces
  • Vegetable oil, for frying


  • Step 1

    Combine crushed red pepper flakes, cayenne pepper or paprika, garam masala, ground coriander, salt, garlic, lemon juice, vinegar, and flour in a bowl. Add chicken and coat thoroughly in the marinade. Let mixture sit for at least 30 minutes.

  • Step 2

    Heat vegetable oil over medium-high heat in a large heavy saucepan. Fry chicken for about 5-6 minutes.

  • Step 3

    Serve with your favorite chutney or ranch for dipping.
