"Summer! I’m in Napa with my kids and other loved ones. Nothing makes me happier! Thanks for the overwhelming response to yesterday’s lobster pasta! If you didn’t catch it, it’s still on the stories. How dreamy is this dish ? It's my own translation from a @bonappetitmag dish from last summer and it's double dreamy! The local fishery did the dirty work by cooking and carefully shelling the lobster. We made a wonderful stock with the lobster shells, and cooked the noodles in the divine lobster nectar. By cooking down Sun Gold and sweet baby tomatoes, we created a spicy concoction of shallots, butter, and red pepper flakes, and when tossed together the dish was unforgettable. I was delighted to share the evening with my favorite sommelier, my lovely friend Amanda @sommvivant, and her boyfriend Jason. She brought an assortment of wines including some of the best I’ve ever enjoyed. We originally met on Instagram! More magical evenings to come.
