  • 350 grams ground beef
  • 1 tablespoon breadcrumbs
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • 1 teaspoon dried mustard
  • 1 teaspoon oregano
  • 2 tablespoons Parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup cheddar cheese
  • 6 slices gouda
  • Sliced pickles
  • 12 brioche rolls

  • Step 1

    In a hot pan, add ground beef, seasonings, and breadcrumbs.

  • Step 2

    Add in the salt, then break up the beef, cooking it about 50% (as it will be returned to the oven). Set aside and let cool slightly.

  • Step 3

    Add in mayonnaise, Italian herbs, cheddar cheese and Parmesan cheese. Toss to combine.

  • Step 4

    Prepare a baking sheet with tinfoil. Preheat oven to 375F (190C).

  • Step 5

    Slice brioche rolls down the middle. Arrange the beef layer on top of the brioche buns.

  • Step 6

    Layer pickles, if using, on top of the meat layer then add cheese.

  • Step 7

    Finally, add the top layer of the buns, brush them with oil, and bake wrapped in foil for 25 minutes.
