Beet-i-full Juice

ingredients

  • 2 golden delicious apples
  • 1 carrot
  • 1/2 stick celery
  • large handful spinach or kale
  • 1/4 cucumber
  • 2 cm broccoli stem
  • 1 medium raw beetroot
  • 2 cm courgette
  • 1/3 lemon
  • 2 cm fresh ginger
  • 1/8 pineapple, peeled

Method

  • Step 1

    Remove the stem from the apples, and cut them into quarters. Remove the ends from your carrot and chop it into quarters. Ensure your fruit and veg is cold; it makes all the difference.

  • Step 2

    When juicing leaves (like spinach or kale) always sandwich them between some hard fruit or veg, as this way they will get through the juicer properly and the juice will be extracted well.

  • Step 3

    Juice the ingredients in this order: your first apple, carrot, celery, spinach or kale leaves, cucumber, broccoli, beetroot, courgette, lemon, ginger, pineapple, and the final apple. Enjoy.
