Recipe Intro From lisathompson
This spicy garlic whipped honey is the fiery sister recipe to my whipped honey. Make sure to store this version in the refrigerator due to the addition of roasted garlic!
Recipe Description
Whipped honey is made by whipping some honey at high speed in an electric mixer until it becomes aerated and creamy. The honey will maintain its whipped consistency for a longer time if you use honey that is partially crystallized. This version uses hot honey and an entire head of roasted garlic for a sweet, spicy, savory flavor! Perfect for spreading on toast, drizzling on pizza, and for easy weeknight salmon.

Recipe Card
ingredients
- 1 Jar hot honey, liquid or crystallized
- 2 whipped honey or crystallized honey, (if using liquid honey)
- 1 head roasted garlic
Method
Step 1
Add the honey and roasted garlic cloves to the bowl of a stand mixer, or use a large bowl and a hand mixer. If your honey has just started to crystallize, it’s okay to use it as is. If it is 100% crystallized, gently warm it up in the microwave or run it under some hot water until it becomes a little more liquid. If the honey is purely liquid, add 2 tablespoons of whipped honey or crystallized honey if you have it.
Step 2
Attach the whisk attachment and whip honey on high speed for 5-10 minutes, until light and fluffy. The larger the quantity of honey, the longer you will need to whip it.
Step 3
Transfer whipped honey to a clean glass jar and store in the refrigerator. Re-whip or stir if separation occurs.
