ingredients

  • 3 cups Chire/ Flattened Rice
  • 1 teaspoons Turmeric Powder
  • 1 teaspoons Garam Masala Powder
  • To Taste Salt
  • To Taste Sugar
  • 1/2 cups Vegetable Oil
  • 1/2 cups Cashew Nuts
  • 2 pieces medium Carrot
  • 1 pieces large Potato
  • 1 cups Cauliflower Florets
  • 1 teaspoons Jeera/ Cumin Seeds

Method

  • Step 1

    Take Chire in a bowl. Wash it in cold water. Drain out the water and let it dry. Chop the veggies into fine pieces and Perboil them.

  • Step 2

    Pour oil in pan. Temper the oil with 1 tsp Jeera. Put the carrot slices for frying. Fry them for few minutes, add cauliflower florets next. Add potatoes when cauliflower gets fried for few minutes.

  • Step 3

    Add salt and sugar to taste. Add 1 tsp turmeric powder. Keep frying in low flame till veggies soften. Sprinkle 1 Tsp Turmeric Powder on Chire. Mix well.

  • Step 4

    Once veggies get cooked, add the Chire. Add 2 Tablespoon Sugar. Mix well and cook for few minutes in medium flame. Mix the veggies with the Chire.

  • Step 5

    Sprinkle 1 Tsp Garam Masala Powder and finish cooking.
