ingredients
- 1 pieces large Eggplant
- 1 teaspoons Turmeric Powder
- To Taste Salt
- To Taste Sugar
- 1 pieces medium Tomato
- 3 pieces Green Chilli
- 2 teaspoon Tamarind Paste
- Mustard Oil
Method
Step 1
Chop Eggplant into thick slices. Sprinkle salt and turmeric powder. Coat them well and set aside for 10 minutes.
Step 2
Chop Tomato and put it in blender. Make paste with green chilli. Pour Mustard Oil in pan. Put the Brinjal pieces in pan. Fry them golden.
Step 3
Set aside after frying. Temper the same oil with 1 tsp sugar. Put the paste. Saute for few minutes. Add salt to taste.
Step 4
Add water. As water starts boiling, add the fried brinjal pieces. Add the tamarind paste. Cook for few minutes more and it's ready.
