A Note from Feedfeed

This poke bowl is an array of colorful fruits and vegetables, including blueberries, mango, radishes, and fresh tuna chunks. A sprinkling of Furikake is the perfect way to finish it off.

ingredients

  • 1 Red tuna filet
  • 10 grams Pomegranate
  • 30 grams Carrot
  • 30 grams Mango
  • 10 grams Soy sprout microgreens
  • 40 grams Avocado
  • 10 grams Blueberry
  • 30 grams Red cabbage
  • 10 grams Radish
  • 2 tablespoons Sweet soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon Roasted black sesame seeds
  • 1 Nori seaweed sheet
  • 2 tablespoons Rice vinegar
  • 50 grams Raw Japanese rive
  • 1 tablespoon Mirin
  • 1 teasp Sesame oil
  • 1 Lime
  • 1 bunch Cilantro
  • 1 Dried red chili pepper

Method

  • Step 1

    1. Rince the rice twice then cook it in rice cooker. Once cooked, aerate to cool, then mix with rice vinegar, mirin and sesame oil. Crunch the nori seaweed sheet and add to rice.

  • Step 2

    2. Dice the tuna, mango an avocado into cubes of different sizes to create texture and visual variations.

  • Step 3

    3. Slice the carrot with a vegetable peeler, coat with juice of 1/4 lime.

  • Step 4

    4. Shred the red cabbage and slice the radish thinly.

  • Step 5

    5. Marinate tuna dices with sweet soy sauce, juice of 1/4 lime and dried red chili pepper.

  • Step 6

    6. Seed the pomegranate.

  • Step 7

    7. Coat the microgreens, blueberries and red cabbage with what remains of the lime juice.

  • Step 8

    8. In a bol, arrange a bottom layer of seasoned rice. Top with all remaining ingredients, including roasted sesame seeds.

  • Step 9

    9. ☘️ I actually added whole bunch of cilantro after the shooting because #cilantroislife but there was so much it would have ruined the pictures 😅
