We count ourselves fortunate that we get to spend so much time traveling and meeting the #feedfeed community all over the world. Regardless of how different each destination is, the reception we have received has been invariably warm, welcoming, inspiring, and incredible. This was no different as we felt sitting around the table with our friends in Toronto.

We were excited to head north and #MakeMerry with Vitamix in Toronto because it was a new city for us, and one with an amazing food, art and design scene and #feedfeed community. Being able to spend time with our community is a special treat especially around the holiday season as everyone comes together. Our dinner in Toronto was to designed to showcase Vitamix and their Winter Spice blend through the eyes of a chef that is pushing the boundaries, and we found that with Chef Bertrand Alépée and his wonderful team at The Tempered Room. Located in the Parkdale neighborhood of Toronto, The Tempered Room operates as a patisserie by day (they make all their pastries in house) and a private dining space at night. The team transformed the space into an intimate and beautiful setting to showcase the power and technology behind the Vitamix Ascent Series machine.

Over five courses, Chef Bertrand walked us through a culinary tour de force that incorporated the Vitamix Winter Spice Mix throughout.

To end the evening, we brought our diners together for a live demo showcasing the Vitamix Ascent in making the ‘Figgy’ Pudding dessert, which uses coconut milk and chocolate to create a deliciously smooth and rich no bake custard!
