Raw Pecan Pie Slice

  • 1 cup pecans
  • 1 cup buckwheat
  • 10 soaked dates
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 cup pecans
  • 1/2 cup coconut cream
  • 1/2 cup almond butter
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 1/3 cup melted coconut oil
  • 1/2 cup maple syrup
  • 1 cup pecans


  • Step 1

    To make the base add the pecans, buckwheat, dates and cinnamon to a food processor and blend until combined (the mixture should be sticky and hold together) tip this mixture into a lined slice tin a press down firmly. Place this in the freezer while you make the filling.

  • Step 2

    To make the filling blend together the pecans, coconut cream, almond butter, cinnamon, nutmeg, coconut oil and maple syrup in a food processor until smooth and creamy. Pour this mixture on top if the base layer and top it with extra pecans. Leave in the freezer to set for at least 2 hours.
