ingredients

  • 1 cup dried red lentils
  • 2 1/2 cup water
  • 1/4 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 tablepsoon nutritional yeast
  • 1/2 juice of lemon

Method

  • Step 1

    Soak the red lentils in the water for at least 4 hours or overnight. They should enlarge in size.

  • Step 2

    Once they’ve soaked up the water, add the rest of the ingredients into the blender and blend until smooth. Let the mixture set for 10 minutes.

  • Step 3

    On a pan at medium heat, scoop ⅓ cup of the batter into the pan and spread it with a spatula if needed but it should naturally thin out into a circle shape.

  • Step 4

    Flip after 3 minutes of cooking then cook again for another 3 minutes. You can store these in the fridge or eat them immediately. Enjoy!
