Basil Spread:

ingredients

  • 1/3 cup Cannellini beans, drained
  • 1 cup fresh basil
  • 1/3 cup olive oil
  • 1/3 cup toasted pignoli nuts
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • juice of 1/2 lemon

Basil Spread

Method

  • Step 1

    Blend all ingredients together in a blender until a thick, yet spreadable consistency is reached.

Red Pepper Spread:

  • 1/4 cup Calabrian chili peppers
  • 1/2 roasted red pepper
  • 1/4 red onion
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1/3 cup roasted tomatoes
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

Red Pepper Sauce

  • Step 1

    Blend all ingredients together in a blender until a thick, yet spreadable consistency is reached.
