- 1 sheet puff pastry, thawed
- 1 can guava paste, cut in small pieces
- Powdered sugar
Preheat oven to 425ºF.
With a rolling pin stretch puff pastry sheet and cut it in 9 squares. Bake for 15 minutes on a parchment-lined baking sheet and let them cool completely.
Mix guava paste with 1/2 cup water in a small saucepan. Heat and mix frequently with a whisk or fork, until the paste has melted completely and the consistency is like a runny jelly (this could take a while). Add more water if needed if it’s too thick.
Cut the puff pastry squares through the sides in half. Fill with the guava and dust lots of powdered sugar.
