These steamy, slurpable noodles might just be your newest quick-dinner savior. Kimchi, sesame oil, garlic, and scallions add fresh flavor to a simple broth made with your favorite packaged ramyun noodles (or gluten-free ramyun!). The addition of soft tofu and an egg make for a protein-packed dish you can whip up in minutes. ingredients
- 1/2 tablespoon sesame oil
- 1/4 cup aged kimchi
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 550 ml water
- 1 package ramyun noodles
- 1 package soft tofu
- egg and green onion
Method
Step 1
Heat sesame oil in a pot over medium heat. add kimchi, and cook for 1-2 min. add garlic and mix to combine.
Step 2
Add water to the pot, followed by the ramyun seasonings. once it comes to a boil, add the noodles and soft tofu, and break it into 4 large pieces.
Step 3
Cook for about 3 mins and when the noodles are nearly cooked, season with salt & pepper, crack in your egg, and sprinkle the green onions on top. cover and cook for about 30 secs until the whites are set. enjoy!
