Ginger Caramel Sauce With Apple
"RECIPE:
1 cup of granulated sugar
1 tbsp of real maple syrup
1 tsp of fresh grated ginger root
2 tbsp of coconut cream
1/2 tsp of salt
3 tbsp of unsweetened vanilla almond milk

Stir the sugar, syrup, salt and grated ginger together in a medium saucepan on the stovetop on medium high heat, then let it caramelize and boil without mixing, just shake the pot occasionally. Once it's bubbling (about 7 minutes) and turns a consistent dark deep brown throughout the pot, remove it from the heat, add the coconut cream and the milk, and stir it together (it may help to use a candy thermometer just in case). Transfer it to a container to cool and thicken until you're ready to serve! "
