Ginger and soy glazed salmon and broccoli

ingredients

  • 400 grams salmon fillet
  • 300 grams broccoli, cut into florets
  • 2 cloves of garlic, grated
  • 1 inch ginger, grated
  • 2 teaspoons honey
  • 1/2 teaspoon white pepper
  • 4 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons sesame oil

For serving

ingredients

  • White rice
  • Carrot, cut into ribbons
  • Cucumber, cut into ribbons
  • Green onions, thinly sliced
  • Sesame seeds
  • Chilies
  • Spinach or other leafy greens

Method

  • Step 1

    Preheat your oven to 180°C

  • Step 2

    Place the broccoli and salmon on a sheet pan

  • Step 3

    Make the sauce by mixing all the ingredients in a bowl

  • Step 4

    Brush the salmon and broccoli with the sauce and place in the oven

  • Step 5

    Cook for 30 minutes

  • Step 6

    Remove from the oven

  • Step 7

    Serve over white rice with leafy greens, veggies, sesame seeds, chilies, and any other toppings you may want
