This simple compound butter is made using fresh herbs and carom seeds.
We recommend spreading this herbacous compound butter on freshly baked bread! We love this Lazy Girl Sourdough and these easy Yeast Rolls.

ingredients
- 200 grams butter, softened to room temperature
- 1/2 cup finely chopped herbs
- 4 cloves garlic, finely minced
- 2 teaspoons carom seeds
Method
Step 1
Add softened butter to a bowl.
Step 2
Heat a pan on medium flame and toast the carom seeds till they start to pop and become fragrant.
Step 3
Then add the ingredients to the butter and mix well to combine. You can either transfer the butter in an air right butter dish like I did and cover it with butter paper. Or shape into a log and wrap in baking paper or plastic wrap and refrigerate.
