"It's been ages since I made coconut milk oatmeal but it's freezing out so it's about time ? I spiced it up with cardamom, nutmeg, cinnamon and vanilla for a cozy fall feeling ☺️ And thank you to my dear friend @nutriholist for making this oatmeal special with a lovely drizzle of delicious Canadian maple syrup she brought to me last week ❤️ So happy to make real life friendships because of this space - Instagram is almost like the E-Harmony of friendships ??❤️"

Ingredients

1 cup coconut milk
1/3 cup rolled oats
1/2 banana
1 teaspoon cinnamon powder
1/2 teaspoon vanilla powder
1/8 teaspoon (just a pinch) of both cardamon and nutmeg powder
1 tablespoon maple syrup

Instructions

Simply add the oats, coconut milk, and slices of banana to a saucepan and heat on medium-low for about 8-10 minutes, until all the liquid has been absorbed and you are left with a creamy porridge. Now stir in all the spices and top with maple syrup and berries!
