"I made this a while back when fig season was at its peak and since I just happened to have figs on hand I couldn't help but to share it again! It was like finding gold at Whole Foods!! Grilled Peanut Butter & Fig sandwich on whole grain bread made with coconut oil and @wild_friends Classic creamy. So unbelievably irresistible."

Ingredients: 1 tsp. extra virgin coconut oil
2 slices sprouted or whole grain bread 6 ripe black figs sliced 1/4 inch thick slices 2-3 tbsp. peanut butter Heat coconut oil in a skillet on medium heat. Spread one side of each slice of bread with 1 to 1 1/2 tbsp. of peanut butter on each. Add both slices to heated skillet and lower heat to medium low. Top one slice of bread with as many fig slices as possible, usually 2 layers works best. Carefully flip the peanut butter only slice on top of the fig slice. Continue to cook for an additional 2 minutes or until bread is toasty golden brown then flip carefully and do the same with the other side. Remove onto a plate and let cool for a couple of minutes before cutting to prevent too much peanut butter from oozing out of the sides. Enjoy!
