White Chocolate Matcha Latte

"Coffee has been causing an increase in my anxiety so I've switched to making bulletproof matcha lattes instead. Matcha actually has anti-anxiety qualities due in part to high concentrations of L-Theanine which helps you to feel focused and relaxed! After a bit of research on companies and quality I would recommend sticking with matcha teas grown in Japan, and look for brands that report consistent testing for the presence of heavy metals. Tea plants that are grown in soil that's contaminated with lead will absorb it into the leaves, and because you are consuming the leaf, that lead may wind up in your cup! Most of the research that I came across reporting high led concentrations was tea grown in China. So make sure to do your homework and find out the origins of where your matcha powder is coming from.
