"It's been a while since I had #shakshouka. I love this dish because they are easy to make and good for any meals. I sauteed some shallots, diced jalapeno and then poured in the marinara sauce, seasoned with pinch of salt and coconut sugar and then poached the eggs in that sauce. Cover with a lid to let the egg whites set but yolks are still runny. Threw in some #Thaibasil too ?This dish requires lots of crusty bread to mop the sauce ? I love rustic food I guess ?
My homemade #sourdough bread is still considered a failed product ? though edible. All in all still a satisfying brunch. More sourdough experiments I guess or just abandon the thought maybe ? what do you think ?
