- 2 bunches asparagus
- 1/ 2 pound bacon
- salt & pepper, to taste
- olive oil, as needed
Prepare an ice bath by adding a tray of ice cubes to a large bowl of water.
Bring a large pot of water to boil and season with salt. Add asparagus and cook for about 2 minutes, or on until bright green.
Add asparagus to ice bath for about 2 minutes, then drain.
When ready to serve, preheat oven to 425˚ F. Drizzle a baking tray with a bit of olive oil. Wrap a few asparagus spears in one peice of bacon, and season with salt and pepper.
Bake for about 15 minutes, or until bacon is crispy.
