Jammy, 6-minute eggs are the perfect topping to smashed avocado toast. Add your favorite herbs and spices for more heat and flavor!

ingredients

  • 1 slice of bread, toasted
  • 1/2 avocado
  • 1 egg, boiled for 6 minutes
  • Dry herbs of choice - dill, parsley, cilantro etc., to taste
  • Red pepper flakes, to taste
  • Flaky Salt, to taste

Method

  • Step 1

    Bring a small pot of water to a rolling boil. Submerge your egg in the boiling water for 6-7 minutes.

  • Step 2

    Remove egg and place a bowl of water and ice and allow to cool. Peel and slice in half.

  • Step 3

    Place avocado on toast and smash using a fork, making sure to spread over the entire surface of the toast. Add the sliced egg and garnish with herbs and seasoning! Enjoy!
