Feedfeed Tip: When baking cheesecake, always be sure to set up a water bath in the oven. You can either carefully cover the bottom of your pan with tin foil (so no water seeps in) and then place it in a roasting pan with a few inches of water, or place a roasting pan full of water on the rack below your cheesecake in the oven. The water bath will create a moist cooking environment which can help prevent cracks from forming.
