I grew up in cosmopolitan #Mumbai ( #Bombay -how I love this name❤️) in an East Indian Catholic family & was raised under the influence of the Indo-Portuguese cultures with a Catholic father and Hindu mother. I 💍👰🏽 a Malvani-Maharastrian too (followed my parents footsteps 😝😍) .
Hence, there is no doubt that I love cooking & experimenting with #bottlemasala . I am trying my bit to promote our community’s delicious cuisine to the 🌎 by sharing classic + fusion & secret family recipes.

For those of you who dont know- Bottle Masala is an iconic traditional secret spice mix of the East Indian community from Bombay/Mumbai. You can buy this in Mumbai only from the Gauthan ladies or selected stores. My family usually makes it at home. And my mom, aunt or sister keep sending me stock whenever someone is travelling to 🇭🇰 or wherever I am 😝 (I will put up a recipe soon- long process). I also saw people selling it on Amazon now- not sure how good or authentic it is- never tried.

You can substitute Paneer with 4 Eggs 🥚 and ta-da you have the best Bombay Egg bhurji (just make sure when u add 🥚 cook for 2-3 mins and turn of the flame when still wet or u will overcook the🥚)add the butter coriander- Mix and serve) 🤤Happy Cooking❤️
