ingredients
- Honey
- 1/3 cup roughly chopped walnuts
- 6 ounces Driscoll's raspberries
- 2 ounces gouda cheese, sliced thin into 9 pieces
- 1 puff pastry sheet
- 1 egg
Method
Step 1
Preheat the oven to 400°F degrees.
Step 2
Cut the puff pastry sheet into 9 equal pieces.
Step 3
On a parchment lined sheet tray add 1 tsp of honey, top with chopped walnuts, and 2-3 raspberries. Crush the raspberries down slightly with a fork. Top with gouda and a piece of puff pastry. Score the edges of the puff pastry down with a fork.
Step 4
In a separate bowl beat an egg with 1 tsp of water. Brush the outside of the puff pastry with the egg wash.
Step 5
Repeat steps 3 & 4 9 times keeping about ½ inch between each appetizer.
Step 6
Bake at 400 for 12-15 minutes, until the outside is golden brown. Allow for the puff pastry to cool down for 2-3 minutes before removing.
