"Labanese Spiced Kafta Pizza. This homemade pizza is topped with labanese spiced mince & tahini & garlic yogurt. Its so good and perfect for weekend indulgence❤️.
Serving : 3 pizza
Ingredients :
Minced lamb : 350g
Onion - 1
Garlic clove - 2-3
Jalapeno - 1
Parsley - handful
Cumin powder - 1/2tsp
Blackpepper powder - 1/2tsp
Vinegar - 1tsp
All spice - 1/4tsp
Cinnamon powder - 1/2tsp
Cardamom powder - 1/4tsp
Olive oil - 1tbsp
Salt - 1tsp
For dough :
Bread flour - 450g
Olive oil - 1tbsp
Sugar - 1tsp
Yeast - 7g
Water - 260ml
Salt - 1tsp
For yogurt sauce.
Yogurt - 1cup
Garlic clove minced - 2
Tahini - 1tbsp
Lemon juice - 1tbsp
Salt - 1/2tsp
Pizza sauce homemade/store bought - 1cup
Ingredients :
In a food processor, add onion, parsley & jalapeno. Process until finely chopped.
Now add mince lamb and all the spices, cumin powder, Blackpepper, all spice, cinnamon & cardamom powder, salt & vinegar. Process it for few seconds until nicley blended.
Take out in a large bowl. Cover it & refrigerate for 2-3 hours or overnight.
Meanwhile prepare dough. In small bowl add 50ml warm water & sugar, dissolve the sugar now add yeast and let it bloom. Once bloomed. Take a large bowl add, flour, salt & olive oil. Add yeast mixture and start kneading the dough by adding remaing water. Once dough formed continue kneading for 7-8 minutes or until smooth. Cover until double in size.
Once rested, punch down all the air and divide in 3 equal parts. Cover again in seperate bowl and rest for 1 hour.
Preheat oven at highest temperature possible depending on your oven.
Now in a skillet add 1 tbsp oil and marinated lamb. Cook for 7-8 mince until all the water evaporate. Cool to room temperature.
For yogurt sauce. Mix everything together and keep aside.
Take out dough ball on lightly floured surface. Try to roll the dough with a help of your hand. Once rolled. Add pizza sauce, now add minced lamb and bake for 12 minutes or until edges light brown.
Once baked. Top with garlic yogurt & rocket. Serve hot and enjoy."
