"Today I am sharing one of the best Mughlai curry recipe Cocunut Black Pepper Chicken, which is very creamy & easy to make & tastes delicious.
Ingredients :
Chicken with bone/boneless - 1/2 kg
Onion paste - 1 large onion
Coconut desiccated - 2 tbsp
Clove - 3
Cardamom powder - 1 tsp
White pepper - 1/2 tbsp
Black pepper - 1/2 tbsp
Ginger & garlic paste - 1tbsp
Green chillies paste - 3 small ( optional)
Almonds grounded - 20g
Melon/pumpkin seeds grounded - 20g
Fox nuts - 10g
Cream - 125g
Yougurt - 75g
Lime - half
Fenugreek leave - 1tsp
Water - 1 cup
Oil - 4 tbsp
Salt to taste
Method :
1. In a heavy bottom pan add oil heat and on medium flame. Then add fox nuts and roast them till they nice light golden and kept aside
2. In the same pan add clove, cardamom powder & ginger garlic paste, stir it then add Chicken roast until its nice golden then add yougurt & lime juice mix it well & cook for 5 to 8 min.
3. Add onion paste, cocunut powder, white pepper powder & stir well until nicely combined then add crushes green chillies cook for another 5-7 min on medium flame.
4. Add one cup water , don't worry if its too runny we are going to add nuts which will thicken the gravy, add cream, black pepper powder and powdered almonds & seeds cook on a low flame for another 10 min & serve.
Serve hot with naan or basmati rice."
