"Afternoon tea and tea-ramisu with a friend. Though I do love coffee in my desserts, especially tiramisu, I'm more of a tea drinker. Peppermint, rooibos and green tea are among my favourites so I thought I'd incorporate one of the tea flavours in a tea- ramisu. Loved the peppermint tiramisu combo; and the raspberry, strawberry and loganberry flavour from Twinings gave the dessert a fruity flavour along with fresh berries. My favourite out of the lot though was strong breakfast tea infused with chai masala. You could add some of the tea masala into the cream as well for a more prominent flavour and the recipe is quite adaptable so you could replace the biscuits with cake if need be. It's not coffee tiramisu so don't expect the same strength but the chai dessert reminded me of a cup of chai or chai cupcakes, which everyone loves.
