Black Sesame Japanese Milk Bread

"Today I was feeling ambitions and decided to try my hand at meal prep for once. I prepped taco bowls and cut up a bunch of veggies for salads. And then got a liiiittle overzealous and made an obscene amount of buttermilk ranch dressing. Oops! But no worries. Because the winner of today’s meal prep challenge are the two loaves of black sesame Japanese milk bread I baked up for my breakfasts. I don’t know about you, but I love Japanese milk bread. Obsessed might be a better word tbh. It’s sooo soft and fluffy from the tangzhong aka roux. And the dough is super versatile. Make it plain or fill it with anything your heart desires. Make it sweet or savory. Or shape it into loaves, babka, buns, or cinnamon rolls. The real MVP in my book."
