ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups almond milk
- 1 serving homemade protein powder
- 2 tablepoons cacao powder
- 1 medjool date (pitted)
- 1 1/2 bananas (sliced or halved, frozen if desired)
- ice (optional)
- 1 teaspoon almond butter (optional for topping)
- 1 teaspoon hemp hearts (optional for topping)
- 1 teaspoon cacao nibs (optional for topping)
Method
Step 1
Blend all ingredients, except for toppings, until smooth. Add ice to make smoothie colder, if desired.
Step 2
Divide between two glasses or jars. Top each with a drizzle of almond butter and sprinkle with hemp hearts and cacao nibs. Drink immediately.
