Asiago Everything Bagel Dip with Crispy Bagel Chips

(16)
"Okay so you've had everything bagel dip. I get it, lots of flavors, it's good. But if you ask me, the asiago bagel reigns supreme. So enjoy this savory, creamy, herby dip. Topped with melty, golden asiago cheese. Served with fresh made bagel chips."

ingredients

  • 8 ounces softened cream cheese
  • 3 teaspoons everything seasoning (I like Mrs.Dash everything but the salt!)
  • 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt (omit if your everything seasoning has salt!)
  • 3/4 cup shredded asiago
  • 2 tablespoons sour cream
  • 2 tablespoons greek yogurt
  • 1 bagel
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt

Method

  • Step 1

    Preheat oven to 375.

  • Step 2

Slice bagel in half (the "wrong" way... not across like you would to toast it!) and cut rounds from each half. I like Canyon Gluten Free bagels :)

  • Step 3

Place rounds on a baking sheet with a wire rack (the rack will assist in getting the chips crispy on both sides, and throughout)

  • Step 4

Drizzle with olive oil, and sprinkle with salt. Bake for 10-15 minutes until golden brown and crisp to the touch. (they will continue to cook for a little bit after they're out of the oven- so careful not to burn!) set aside until ready to serve.

  • Step 5

Shred asiago cheese, and save about half for topping.

  • Step 6

Combine cream cheese, half of the asiago, sour cream, greek yogurt, everything seasoning (I like Mrs. Dash everything but the salt, so I can adjust my own salt to taste!) salt, until smooth. This can be done by hand/rubber spatula, with a hand mixer, or in the bowl of a stand mixer.

  • Step 7

Transfer dip to shallow oven safe dish. Top with remaining asiago, and broil for 3-5 minutes until cheese begins to bubble and brown.

  • Step 8

Serve with bagel chips, or veggies :)

  • Step 9

You could also serve this dip cold without the added cheese ontop, and skip the broiling! (But I suggest it :) the more melty cheese the better if you ask me!)
