"One of my favorite summer treats is an ice-cold slushie. These watermelon lime slushies are super refreshing and soo easy to make. Just cut up some watermelon, freeze it, and then blend with lime juice. You can also add a few tablespoons of sugar or your preferred sweetener."

ingredients
- 5 cups seedless watermelon, cut into 1-inch cubes
- 1/4 cup lime juice
- 2 tablespoons sugar, or your preferred sweetener, optional
Method
Step 1
Slice your watermelon into 1 inch cubes. You’re going to want about 5 cups of this. Place the cubes in sandwich or gallon bags in one even layer. Lie these bags flat in your freezer and freeze for 4-6 hours or until completely solid.
Step 2
Once the watermelon if frozen, break it up in the bags a little bit before placing the cubes into a blender. Add in the lime juice and sugar/sweetener if you like. Blend on high until completely smooth. Pour into glasses and enjoy!
