"To my friends celebrating - Happy Diwali! I first learned about this holiday when I was living in Singapore. One of the things I loved about Singapore is that they celebrate every major holiday of all the religions practiced by the people who lived there. From Muslim, to Hindi, Christian and Buddhist I really learned a lot of different traditions and customs.

Diwali is one of my favorite ones to celebrate because it’s all about love and light. It also doesn’t hurt that it usually fell around my Birthday. P.S. It’s so much better celebrating Diwali on your birthday than sharing it with Voting Day… anyway I digress…

In partnership with amys kitchen I am delighted to share with you this Diwali inspired dessert. Puff Pastry is filled with amys kitchen Dreamy Candy mixed with some sweet dried coconut, poppy, sesame and chia seeds and flavored with cardamom. It’s easy to whip up for any holiday really. You can find the recipe both on my blog and on Amy’s. ⠀

Love and Light to you all.
