Apple Tart With Apricot Glaze

Apple Tart with Apricot Glaze


3 apples

juice of 1/2 lemon

1 tbsp vanilla sugar

dash of cinnamon

puff pastry, store bought

apricot jam, warmed


Thinly slice apples and mix in a bowl with lemon juice, a sprinkle of cinnamon and vanilla sugar.

Lay half a sheet of (pre-made!) puff pastry on a baking tray, score a border around the edge, arrange the apples ontop and sprinkle with another spoonful of sugar.

Bake for about 20 mins until golden then brush over a glaze of warmed apricot jam.
