- Sunflower or avocado oil, for frying
- 1 (7.5 ounce) can buttermilk biscuits
- 1 1/2 tablespoons sugar
- Nutella®, for serving
Method
Step 1
Pour oil into a heavy bottom pan until the oil is about 3 inches high.
Step 2
Over medium heat, heat oil to 325°F.
Step 3
Separate biscuits and gently drop each biscuit into the oil. Fry the biscuits until each side is golden brown, about 30-45 seconds each side.
Step 4
Remove biscuits from oil and place on a paper towel to drain.
Step 5
Add biscuits to a large bowl and sprinkle sugar over the top while the biscuits are still hot. Shake the bowl and flip the biscuits until they are fully coated in sugar. Serve warm with Nutella®.
