How to Break Down a Butternut Squash

My Recipes
Rose And Cardamom Cake Pops Dipped In White Chocolate
Is it too early for dessert? Cardamom Rose Cake Pops | cake pops flavored with cardamom, sweet rose water and covered in white chocolate. An Indian twist on a modern dessert.
Bhutta Masala
Simple food is often the best food. Hot grilled bhutta (corn) rubbed with fresh limes, masalas and salt is a summer favorite in India. Bhuttawala’s (grilled corn vendors) stay busy roasting the corn on their little wooden carts as customers line up to slather their desired amount of masala and nimboo (Indian lemons) on the charred treat. If you're planning on grilling this weekend I'd suggest making a batch of this masala mix to enjoy with your corn & other grilled vegetables.
Strawberry And Rose Water Custard
Strawberry Rose Custard topped with cardamom whipped cream. It's the thing dreams are made of. A twist on the classic fruit custard. Puréed strawberries combined with rose water give this dessert a modern yet delicious update. Add this to your Mother's Day menu.
Bombay Pav Bhaji
Pav Bhaji | A mix of spiced vegetables served with a pat of butter, squeezes of lime juice, crunchy onions and extra cilantro! To be scooped up with toasted buttery bread. A quick and easy Holi dinner that will remind you of the Bombay's famous Pav Bhaji.
Masala Papad With Spiced Cucumber, Onion And Tomato Filling
Masala Papads | An easy appetizer of crunchy papads topped with a masala filling of cucumbers, onions, tomatoes and spices. Street food. Either you love it or you hate it. I mean is there really a middle ground when it comes to dining out in open, watching the street vendor flip their pans in action as you stand waiting your turn and eat with not a care in the world Obviously some people have concerns about the cleanliness, which is completely valid, but with their entire kitchen exposed to the public, street vendors have much more to lose if they don’t stay keep up their standards. One thing no one can deny is the flavors and innovation offered by Indian street food vendors. Every time I go to Bombay I see more and more vendors trying something different, whether it’s chicken makhani corn chaat (of course I tried it!), juicing gaana raas off a rickshaw or turning the humble papad into a crunchy, chatpata treat.
We're back from our summer in Florida and there's a million things to do at home, but first... chai.

• I N D I A • Being Indian goes beyond a birthplace. It's the fragrance of morning agarbatti, the aroma of hot masala chai, the whistling sound of a pressure cooker, the vibrant colors in our masalas dabba, the afternoon snoozes following Sunday lunch, the need to celebrate even the smallest of holidays in the grandest of ways. Being Indian is a feeling, a taste, a way of life. Happy 70th Independence Day India, you may not have birthed me but I'm still your child 🇮🇳
