Fall is officially here and pumpkin butter is one of my favourite ways to celebrate autumnal flavours - it’s so delicious for breakfast on toast or with yoghurt!
I also use it to make homemade pumpkin spice lattes!

ingredients
- 1 cup pumpkin purée
- 1/3 cup light brown sugar
- Knob of butter
- Pinch of salt
- 1 teaspoon pumpkin spice
Method
Step 1
Add all of the ingredients to a saucepan. Cook on a low-medium heat for 20 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Step 2
The pumpkin butter will thicken and darken in colour (it will continue to thicken in the fridge). Store in the fridge in an airtight jar for 2-3 weeks.
