ingredients

  • 2 slices sourdough bread
  • Ghee
  • 1 avocado, mashed
  • 2 eggs
  • Pinch of red pepper flakes
  • Cilantro
  • Za'atar

Method

  • Step 1

    Spread ghee onto bread slices. Toast until crispy.

  • Step 2

    Bring a medium saucepan of water to a rolling boil. Gently lower in eggs and cook for 12-15 minutes. Transfer immediately to an ice bath. Once cool to handle, peel back shells.

  • Step 3

    Spread mashed avocado over the toasted bread. Top with hard boiled egg chunks along with a sprinkle of red pepper flakes, cilantro, and za'atar.
