ingredients

  • 300 grams Chana Dal
  • 1/2 teaspoon Ginger minced
  • 1 teaspoons Garam Masala Powder
  • To Taste Salt
  • To Taste Sugar
  • 5-6 tablespoons Mustard Oil
  • 1 teaspoons Jeera
  • 1 teaspoons Hing / Aeostefida
  • Green chilli
  • 1 cups Refined Oil
  • Small Dough balls

Method

  • Step 1

    Soak Chana Dal overnight in water. Drain water next morning. Put the Dal in blender. Add minced Ginger and green chilli. Make paste.

  • Step 2

    Pour mustard oil in pan. Temper with 1/2 Tsp Jeera. Add the Dal paste. Add salt and sugar to taste. Add 1 Tsp Garam Masala powder. Cook for 10 minutes. Let it cool.

  • Step 3

    Take dough balls. Make hole in them. Stuff with 1 Tsp of Dal paste. Roll Kachuri. Pour refined oil in pan. Put Kachuri in pan. Fry golden. Take out from oil and serve hot with Dum Alu or Cholar Dal.
