ingredients
- 6 Crave House Plant-Based Italian-Style Sausages
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, room temperature
- 1 teaspoon white miso paste
- 1 cup light mayonnaise
- 1/2 teaspoon wasabi, optional
- 2 cups thinly sliced iceberg lettuce
- 6 hot dog buns
- 2 tablespoons red pickled ginger
- 1/4 cup furikake
Method
Step 1
Combine butter and miso paste together until they are completely blended.
Step 2
Melt the miso butter in a pan over medium-high heat and cook the sausages for 5-7 minutes, or until completely cooked.
Step 3
Place the hot dog buns cut-side down and grill until browned and slightly charred, about 3 minutes per side.
Step 4
In a small bowl, combine mayonnaise and wasabi. Set aside.
Step 5
To assemble: add lettuce in a bun, top with sausage, wasabi mayo, pickled ginger, then sprinkle with furikake.
