ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 16 ounces chip steak
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • salt and pepper, to taste
  • 3 torpedo style hoagie rolls (6 inch size), split
  • 6 slices Land O Lakes® Deli American
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 tablespoon dried parsley, for garnish if desired

Method

  • Step 1

In a large frying pan, heat the olive oil to medium heat and add the chip steak to the pan.

  • Step 2

Cook the steak for a few minutes or until no longer pink. Add garlic powder, salt and pepper to taste. Mix well and top the pan with 6 slices of American cheese.

  • Step 3

Reduce heat to low and cover the pan. Cook for about 30 seconds or until cheese is melted. Turn off heat.

  • Step 4

Coat a non-stick pan with cooking spray and heat on medium heat. Add eggs and cook for about 5 minutes or until the whites are no longer clear and the yolks are firm.
