"Today I'm sharing Amal's lunch. I'll share mine in the next post. Making baby food is a lot of work but also a lot of fun. It forces me to ponder and be creative. This is ground oats and buckwheat that are soaked overnight and then cooked with homemade cannellini bean purée and homemade carrot purée then drizzled with cold pressed extra virgin olive oil, a squeeze of lemon and freshly ground flax and chia seeds. She loved it and gobbled up the whole thing. This mama feel so proud and accomplished when that happens. "
