@gabriellegeiselman adapted her cake from the recipe linked here. Instead of using instant coffee she used one shot of espresso divided between the cake and the frosting.
She added 2/3 of the espresso shot to the cake batter, and the remaining 1/3 to the frosting.
She also added three tablespoons of cocoa powder and 1 tsp of vanilla extract to the frosting.
