Poached Salmon Tobiko Bowls

ingredients

  • 1 pound sliced Boneless and skinless salmon filets
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1 tablespoon fresh Freshly available Tobiko (Fish Egg)
  • 1 tablespoon chopped into small pieces Chopped green onions for garnishing

Method

  • Step 1

    At first, place salmon fillets in a large saucepan and add sufficient water to let it submerge. Make sure to add salt to it.

  • Step 2

    Use medium heat and bring water to a simmer. After that, cover the saucepan with the help of a lid and heat it further for 15 minutes.

  • Step 3

    Once you heat it, remove the salmon from poaching liquid. Use a fork and a spoon to flake it out.

  • Step 4

    On top of hot steamed rice, spread salmons and tobiko eggs. Use chopped green onions for garnishing purposes.

  • Step 5

    If required, serve with pickled ginger.
