Transform your Annie's Organic Vegan Shells by adding brown button mushrooms, Jamaican jerk seasoning and a little chili powder for some kick! If you've got picky eaters, sub out the mushrooms!

ingredients
- 1 box Annie's Organic Vegan Shells Creamy Sauce
- 6 brown button mushrooms,
- 1/4 onion, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon garlic salt
- 1 teaspoon sea salt
- 1 teaspoon chili powder
- 1 teaspoon Jamaican Jerk Seasoning
- 1 tablespoon vegan butter
- 1/2 cup unsweetened plant milk of choice
- 1 green onion, sliced on a bias for garnish
Method
Step 1
Add mushrooms, onions and garlic to a blender/food processor. Pulse 8-10 times or until mushrooms is broken down into tiny crumbles. Remove contents from blender/food processor and place in a bowl
Step 2
Lightly oil a frying pan preheated at med-high heat with olive oil then add mushrooms. Season with garlic salt, salt, chili powder and jerk seasoning.
Step 3
Cook for 3-5 mins, at med-high heat then deglaze the pan with ΒΌ cup of water. Set contents aside.
Step 4
Cook pasta shells following instructions on @annieshomegrown Vegan Mac for best results then drain and set aside.
Step 5
Add 1Tbsp Vegan butter to saucepan and melt then add Β½ cup of Unsweetened Plant Milk followed by the cheese/seasoning packet. Combine, bring to a simmer at med-low heat then stir until thick
Step 6
Add cooked pasta followed by jerk mushrooms and stir until contents are combined. Remove from heat then serve immediately
